Das Chicago Sympony Orchestra als Live-Erlebnis im Konzert

 

Gedanken zu besonderheiten und Unterschieden von Schallplatten-Produktionen und Live-Mitschnitten

Hier nun also die Zusammenstellung aller vom CSO offiziell auf CD veröffentlichten Live-Mitschnitte. Im Abstand von etwa einem Jahr erschien in den Jahren von 1986 bis 2008 in einer "From the Archives" benannten Reihe jeweils eine Doppel-CD - zudem noch zwei große Boxen mit jeweils 12 CDs: "The first 100 Years" (1990) und "Collector´s Choice" (2000), sodass nun auf insgesamt 68 CDs knapp 90 Stunden "CSO live" zu hören sind! 

 

Die Veröffentlichung weiterer Live-Mitschnitte wurde 2008, ein Jahr nach der Gründung des hauseigenen Labels "CSO-Resound", welches viele aktuelle Schallplattenproduktionen (zumiest als Live-Mitschnitte) bestreitet, leider eingestellt. Jammerschade, denn es befinden sich noch wahrlich viele großartige Schätze im Rundfunkarchiv.
